Fallen Angel Reviews

Sofie Peterson is celebrating her divorce by going on a Caribbean Cruise with her best friend Libby. Sofie is looking to change her life. The break up of her marriage left her humiliated and down hearted. Sofie wants excitement, adventure and to find love. She needs to change her everyday existence. And why not start that new life on a cruise ship?
Finn Baxter is a private investigator chasing a con artist who fleeces lonely women out of their money. Finn intends to make him pay for his crimes. He is after vengeance for the death of a friend. This cruise is strictly business for Finn. That is until Sofie cannons into him and literally knocks him off his feet. Both Sofie and Finn instantly blame the other for their accidental meeting. To Finn, Sofie is sexy and feisty and someone definitely worth getting to know. To Sofie, Finn is a gorgeous, perfect hunk of man that she does not intend to make a fool of herself over. She believes a man that attractive cannot be interested in a plus size woman. But Finn is most definitely interested.
But there are so many lies between all the occupants on board the cruise ship; lies about wanting and needing, fibs about professions and fake engagements. And the biggest lie of all is lying to yourself. People are going to get hurt, but people are also going to fall in love
Big Fat Lies is a story which I believe a lot of people, especially women can relate to. It's about perceptions. How you perceive yourself and how that can colour your judgment. Sofie's past history has made her doubt her beauty. The fact that someone like Finn is really attracted to her is a revelation to Sofie. I think there's a little bit of Sofie in most women. Big Fat Lies is a sweet, passionate love story of wanting, needing, and realizing that the man of your dreams can be a reality. It's also a funny story told with great honesty. If you like a good laugh and want to see the heroine find the man of her dreams, then I recommend Big Fat Lies.

Love Romances and More Four hearts
Sofie Peterson is a fourth grade teacher who finds herself suddenly single and on a cruise ship with her best frind, Libby. Sofie had had a bad time with men; her husband left her for another. She agrees to come on this trip with Libby with the idea that they will flirt their hearts out "love 'em and leave 'em" when the trip ends. What neither woman bargains for is that they might be Mr.Right, or they might be Mr.Wrong for any woman.
Finn Baxter has been chasing the man who destroyed his ex-partner's life. Although he left the police force the night his partner died, he opened up a PI firm just to revenge his senseless death and the demise of an innocent woman. Finn has finally cornered the conman responsible, but he doesn't bargain for the woman who will steal his heart. Sofie pulls strings he didn't know he had and he finds himself putting her in the middle of his investigation.
As always with a book by Judy Bagshaw, you know you are getting a book worth reading. Ms. Bagshaw is a talented author who has once again penned a tale that will keep your fingers turning the pages. Her novels come filled with full-figured heroines and heroes to drool over.
BIG FAT LIES is a fast paced tale that will delight your senses. She packs a bit of history and a great visual picture of places we all will want to get to know. Sofie and Libby visit the Dominican Republic and San Juan on their cruise. While in port they see sights that are delightful whilst they find romance and true love.
Besides her sea port descriptions, Ms.Bagshaw also delights readers with enough page turning drama to make this light hearted tale a heart pounding event for Sofie. Readers will find her charming innocence delightful and will be appalled by her innocence as she is taken advantage of. She is a perfect heroine with just enough "negative issues" to be realistic.
Secondary to the main plot, Libby is a great friend who finds true love in her shipboard romance. She is a major part of the story and deserved her own romance. While her part in the tale is not primary, she deserves to be mentioned as she is highly likeable and noteworthy. She is the best friend who every woman wants to call their own.
This reviewer recommends heading to Amazon or Draumr Publishing.com to pick up your copy of BIG FAT LIES today. This is a light read that turned a rainy afternoon at home into a sunny trip to the Caribbean.
